Group Meetings
Group meetings are held weekly with two talks: a long talk (~25 min, research update or journal club) and a short talk (~3 min, quick-fire update or tutorial). Snacks are mandatory — the designated Food person brings them each week.

O-Punting
Venturing forth from our alcoves offices with determination in our hearts and, more importantly, delicious snacks and a significant amount of Pimms in our bags, the yearly OPIG punting trip is truly a spectacle to behold.
Tour de Farce
Le Tour de Farce is our annual bike ride through Oxfordshire's wonderful scenery and even more wonderful drinking establishments.
Opigmas
Once a year, when mirth is at large and Christmas joy abound, the OPIG masses gather to celebrate the annual pagan celebration of Christmas.
Retreat
Each year, the OPIG group heads away together for a week-long retreat, building stronger connections outside the lab with talks, games, and shared meals.
